International Relations Department main activities:

• Arranging and coordination of international cooperation of the University with Russian and foreign educational institutions, companies and enterprises;
• Contacting various departments of the University, monitoring and coordinating their international activity;
• Identification of priority cooperation areas and forward planning of international relations of the University, searching for and selecting partners to establish international contacts, taking part in the outlining of plans and programs for further international activities of the University;
• Commercial activity in compliance with the University Charter, arranging of new cooperation forms;
• Arranging and carrying out international symposiums, conferences and seminars at the University;
• Establishing contacts with Russian and international funds for financial support of the international projects supervised by the International Relations Department;
• Establishing international partnership and arranging the cooperation activity of the University with educational institutions of foreign countries, targeted to the mutual coordination and implementation of inter-university exchanges, training of students and cadets, and other business contacts focused on education, scientific research and practical appliance;
• Selection, preparation and the documents arrangement for the University academic staff members, students and postgraduate research students who are going abroad on the matter related to the activity of the International Relations Department;
• Coordination and arrangement of the cadets OBT and postgraduate employment onboard foreign shipping companies;
• Visits arranging for foreign delegations, specialists, trainees, students and postgraduate research students at the University;
• The arranging and implementation of international programs, projects and other activities of the University;
• Arranging of training at foreign educational institutions, enterprises and companies of the shipping industry for the cadets, students, postgraduates and the academic staff members of the University;
• Efficiency assessment and monitoring of the University international agreements implementation related to the responsibility of the International Relations Department;
• Implementation of the hospitality protocol - reception of foreign delegations and officials visiting the University;
• Implementation of information and analytical support for the purpose of arranging international events, projects and other international cooperation activity of the University related to the responsibility of the International Relations Department.
